Vascular Services

The Vein & Vascular Specialists at Baton Rouge Cardiology Center provides comprehensive services for the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a full range of vascular diseases.

Our laboratory has received full accreditation by ICAVL, the Inter-Societal Counsel for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories.

The lab provides testing for:

• Carotid artery disease
• Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
• Venous disease
• Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)

Services provided include:

• Duplex ultrasonography for both arterial and venous disease
• Segmental limb pressure readings
• Ankle-brachial index recordings
• Pulse volume recordings
• Intracranial duplex imaging

Diagnostic imaging includes:

• Duplex ultrasonography
• CT scanning
• CT angiography with 3-dimensional reconstruction capabilities
